Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while and leave footprints in our hearts and we are never the same.

When I was around six I found a beautifully embroidered child's pillowcase with wonderful flowers and bees and a butterfly in the most beautiful colors. Right in the middle of all of this was the name JANE. I loved it! I asked my Mother where it came from and she said she embroidered it when she was pregnant with me. And, that she and my Father were going to name me Jane. But changed their minds. Too bad. I loved it. So, I started signing my name with a flourish . . . . J a n e
